NEU Charity of the Year


Thank you to everyone who donated to Camp Kesem during the week of February 6-10! Our donation drive was very successful!

Camp Kesem is the NEU "Charity of the Year." The organization runs summer camp programs for children who are affected by a parent's cancerFor more information look at their website: http://campkesem.org/

PTA Free Movie Night

This month the Tafoya PTA will be showing the movie Trolls on Friday, February 24th at 6:00 PM.

Bring pillows and blankets! There will be a snack bar (cash only). 

*All students must have an adult with them for supervision.*

 


 

Novel Knowledge

At Tafoya, 4th-6th graders have the opportunity to form teams and participate in the Novel Knowledge reading competition! 

Teams need to read all 8 books to prepare for the competition.

Teams will take quizzes on the books during the week of April 25-28. 

The final competition (between the top 3 teams) will be on Monday, May 1st.

Before School Plans

 

8:00 – Cafeteria and playground open

Students may proceed to the cafeteria for breakfast or to the playground to line up.

 

Grades K-3 - School begins at 8:45

Grades 4-6 - School begins at 8:25

On Wednesdays all grade levels attend 8:25-1:30.

 

There is no school supervision before 8:00 am. Please do not drop students off before 8:00.

Grades K-3

  M, T, Th, F     8:45 - 3:00 pm

Wednesdays    8:25 - 1:30 pm

 

Grades 4-6

  M, T, Th, F      8:25 - 3:00 pm
